Texel’s free image tools process your selected files in your browser. This public release does not offer AI text generation, accounts or payments.
Images and downloads
Selected images are decoded in your browser to create material maps, blend edges and inspect repeats. They are not uploaded to Texel or an AI provider. PNG and ZIP downloads are also created in your browser. Your selected image is held in page memory; refreshing or closing the page clears that working session. Save any files you want to keep.
Hosting and ordinary web requests
Cloudflare hosts this website and delivers its pages, scripts, fonts and example images. Like other hosting services, it processes connection information such as IP addresses, request URLs and technical request metadata to deliver and protect the site. This does not include the contents of images you select for the local tools.
Cookies, analytics and accounts
This release does not set account cookies, use advertising trackers, collect payment details or send product usage events to a third-party analytics service. Browser or hosting security features may process their own technical information. Example images are public site assets, not uploads from other visitors.
AI generation
The text-to-texture feature is not open on the public site. It does not accept or forward prompts to a generation provider. Some clearly labelled examples were created previously with AI; viewing them does not create a new generation request.
